Suck It up Limited edition Urban Pop Art Print
This year I made the new Urban pop art print about one of my favourite domestic vacuum cleaners. In my usual style I have tried to make each print different and hand finished so they are all 1 of 1. The title of the print is "Suck it up" they are all unframed Silkscreen prints on paper A2 size or 42cm x 59.4cm. I love the fun face of this hoover and I have given him an urban pop art remix.

Pop art is an art trend that began in the mid- to late-1950s in the United Kingdom and the United States. By using imagery from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, comic comics, and everyday mass-produced goods, the movement posed a challenge to fine art traditions. One of its goals is to incorporate imagery from public (rather than elite) culture in art, stressing the prosaic or kitschy aspects of any culture, most often through sarcasm. It's also linked to the employment of mechanical replication or rendering techniques by artists. Material is occasionally visibly separated from its recognised context, isolated, or merged with unrelated material in pop art.
