Glitter Pop Art Paintings
I love glitter art, but bling but its not for everyone. I have been using glitter in my pop art paintings for many years and have perfected the way I use it in the studio to get the best look for my paintings. Here are a selection of glitter paintings that I have made over the last few years. All these paintings are on canvas unframed, signed and dated on the back. Glitter is a collection of tiny, reflecting particles of various shapes, sizes, and colours. The surface sparkles or shimmers because glitter particles reflect light at different angles. Glitter is a smaller version of confetti, sparkles, and sequins. Glitter has been manufactured from a variety of materials since prehistoric times, including stones such as malachite and mica, as well as insects and glass.
