Kitsch is a low-brow type of mass-produced art or design that incorporates popular or cultural symbols. Kitsch is "art, items, or design regarded to be in poor taste because of excessive garishness or sentimentality, but occasionally admired in an ironic or knowing sense," according to the Oxford art dictionary.
