😀 In this mash up style painting I have used various different images. These are off set again other images in which I look at various beliefs, religion and shopping in today's consumer society. I love to add as many textures into my paintings as I can. If you look very closely at the backgrounds you will see lots of hidden references to various things in pop culture such as shopping, Warhol, Hirst, Hello kitty, Pizza express and even Tescos. I always say to people look closely at my paintings because you may be surprised in what you might find.

👋 Hello my name is Barrie J Davies and I'm an Artist based in Brighton, UK. The artwork I make is a fusion of pop art, graffiti art, street art and contemporary urban art. The work is a mix of paintings on canvas, limited edition pop art prints and sculpture. The materials I use include acrylic paint, household paints, spray paint, glitter, screen printing, stencils, markers, mixed media collages of comic books, posters and found objects.
