Yellow Nobody puts baby in the corner Print
Yellow Nobody puts baby in the corner Print by Barrie J Davies 2020 - unframed Silkscreen print on paper (hand finished) edition of 1/1 - A2 size 42cm x 59.4cm.
About this series: This dancing print is about one of my favourite films from the '80s and the amazing Actor Patrick Swayze. I loved the dance at the end of the film, me and my sister used to watch it over and over on VHS. For this print, I had fun playing with a different kind of background.
👋 Hello, I'm Barrie J Davies and I'm an artist from Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, Wales. I graduated from the Southampton Institute with a Fine Art degree in 2000 and I completed my Master's Degree at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 2004. I now live and work in sunny Brighton, England UK. My artwork is fun mix of pop art and street art with a colourful humorous approach to expose the human condition: notions of success, money, glamour, love, death, sex, gender & religion are picked at with dry comedic use of tragedy meshed with absurdity.
